# Setting up your blog

We are thrilled to have you on the Letterpad platform. We recommend going over the below three steps to customise your blog.

1. Change your **username** if you do not like the **URL** of your blog. Refer to this [article](/setup/url-of-your-site.md) on how to do so.
2. Change **appearance** of your blog like site name, tagline, description, header image, favicon, avatar, etc. Refer to this [article](/setup/appearance.md) on how to do so.
3. Add social links. Refer to this [article](/setup/update-social-links.md) on how to do so.
